Should make it more stable but will put extra stress on c-hubs etc...if this set is compatible with the e-fs, i will just be using the 15mm wide adapters giving me total extra wheel width of 30mm. Giving me plenty of clearance for my beadlock rims.

Well after not really doing much with the truck mod wise over the past year I figured it was time for a new bashing body. The guys at the LHS call me the dayglo guy so I figured I would stick with the colors I have become known for which are dayglo orange and arctic silver. Unfortunately you can't really see in the pics but it's silver at the front dayglo middle with silver at the back. Also this time around I actually got to use the DX2 body VS other manufacturers that can be found on page 4 of this thread.

I think by the look of it, the rear alloy arm set will have to be fixed left arm on right side...right arm on left, due to were the shock mounts are.

Hi from Italy! I had to order a new body and wheels/tires. I think I might try the Academy hubs. The ones for the truck, right?

I need some help with my recent brushless upgrade on my firestorm.

Last week I installed the Caatle Sidewinder along with the 5700k motor. I am running 3300 stick packs and a spektrum reciever on a DX3r.

When i quickly pull the throttle the car will just chatter and not go half the time. When I gently roll the throttle on, the car takes off and runs well. Is this a battery issue or an adjustment I need to make on my radio?

Thanks,
Mike P

It's cogging because the esc and motor are demanding more than those batteries can give. You need to program your esc for the lowest settings or get some better batteries. Lipo is the only way to go when running brushless.

Default RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread

so i received the failsafe I ordered 2 week ago here: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...B:EOIBSA:CA:31

it isn't working properly, sometime it seems that it prevents the wheel from spinning but most of the time the wheel still spins when i turn the transmitter off

Is there something I can do about it ? a problem with the failsafe not being compatible with electric rc ?

and why in hell HPI did not include one in the stock firestorm ? I paid $400 for that car and they cant spare a few $$$ to save my car when the signal gets down ?? is the failsafe not built in the ESC normally for electric RC car ?

so many question

What Steering Servo are you guys using?...I would like a smaller turning radius than what the standard car is capable of.....more responsive steering would be a bonus too.
