i assume you are talking about in a Slash 4x4? i have never tried it, but i can guarantee you that it would not work because the Slash 4x4 doesn't even a have a transmission, only a solid driveshaft to the rear and front diffs.

has any one attempted to use an emaxx transmission in the slash with a bracket made up for it

THATS IS F***ING AWSOME
and you would be able to run dual motors or make motor plates for larger motors, so you could go bigger then a 550

Dont know about u guys but my 35a 190a punch ezrun combo with a 3900kv motor has way to much torque.... Why would u want more???
No kidding with monster truch wheels on the back it gets the grip, but it wheelies on grass dirt..well anything & understeers like nothing ive driven. making it faster in a straight line but nearly impossible to make the most simplest of turns under acceleration... over all its heaps slower & not even worth using those wheels on a track.
IMO if it can loose traction on high grip surfaces how would more torque be beneficial
these are the wheels im talking about on my old body

yeah but they're just giant brushed motors. Stillwouldnt be as powerful as a BL motor on 3s.

torque, but wouldnt it be interesting having twin kershaw 900 H.O. motors in a 2wd slash

RE: The Official Traxxas Slash short-course race truck
picked up a new motor for my slash yesterday,I gotconfirmation of shipmenttoday. Its a gforce 3200kv 4 pole motor from valuehobby.com. came to$39.98 shipped from illinois. yesits a budget motor, so we'll see how she holds up andif it will give the tacon a run for its money. Just have to change out the 3.5mm banana plugs to 4mm when it gets in.

Oh and supposedly their hard case lipos are pretty darn good for the money too, jang from urc had posted a video on YouTube of one

I've got the same motor sitting on my table waiting. I plan to use it if I blow a bearing in my castle 1410 and need a quick replacement. I have a Tacon in my 2wd as well which I love and was a budget motor, but they are all out of stock. This g-force should have little more torque since its 4pole.

Awesome, thanks for the pic, Iwas wondering what the back of it looked like.
