So I just picked up the Slash 4WD and I am loving this truck. With stock everything it is quick. I have the brushless and I am using the standard battery. I did learn a lesson though, don't let your wife drive it, mine flipped it in the street and gave the first roadrash to the body.
So beside painting one myself where can I get a Toyota Tundra body for this painted? I really want one but the only one I found prepainted was on eBAY for $100. Anyone help me out here?

There aren't too many pre-painted bodies out there besides the stock ones from Traxxas and then there's the custom ones on ebay that go for big bucks. Looks like your gonna have to paint your own!

Just do a 1 color to start .loadup some stickers your done.......or try a simple 2 color it's real easy just clean,dry.cut,tape,paint or paint then cut.besides if you bash like me don't matter how it looks it isn't going to last long.
Make sure it's the right paint anything other then lexan paint will peel on the first bump

I should be trading my DF03Ra or F103 for a 2WD slash brushless RTR next week. I have a DRX roller on the way too, so I'm going to try the electronics in it and see which one I like more - hopefully i'll have both running sometime :P

finally painted my silverado body....didnt turn out perfect but aint bad for my freehand flame masking job....no precut **** for me! It is hard to get any pics of the spaztix because it always looks green...lol

thanks guys! I spent almost an hour yesterday trying to get a picture of it to show the spazstix...heres a fewi managed to get....the first one i took with instagram and got it to really show the purple..

well, now ive added RPM arms, and carriers. so now its bash worthy. took off the adjustable tbs and put the stock tie rods back on.

Heres mine again in race mode....wasnt using my silverado body before been using this one....
heres my list of crap....
-RPM front and rear arms
-RPM steering blocks
-RPM bearing carriers front and rear
-RPM shock towers front and rear
-RPM bumpers
-RPM wheelie bar mount
-RPM motor protector
-Traxxas Velineon brushless setup
-Turnigy 5800mah lipo & Thunderpower 5300mah lipo
prolly forgetting some but oh well....anxiously waiting for my jconcepts silverado body
