Default AFP Game Commander to USB ??

Just Picked up an IKARUS AFP Pro Flight SImulator.

I cant use computer with Game Commander it came with because I have
no way to hook up th 15 pin connection. (nor do they supply any adaptors)

Is there a 15 pin to USB adapter you can purchase ? Will it run off of a USB port ??

I have a DELL Dimension computer.........there is no 15 pin port on the back of th unit

I have 2 USB ports, and a 9 pin serial port.

I'd also like to to use a 'regular' transmitter one day, also. Any ideas on this ?

I need some help please please please ??

Thanks,

Steve

Default RE: AFP Game Commander to USB ??

You should have gotten the Game Commander and a 9 Pin cable with 6' wire for your transmitter ... did you not?

RCU wont let me show an Ebay URL.. just do a search for a "USB GAMEPORT" in the Ebay search.

RCU MODS:

I am not trying to sell something on Ebay, I am only telling this guy where he can get an adapter for the USB gameport.

Thanks........

Yes I got the 9 pin cable with tht unit.

I'll llok to see if I can find a 'connector' to go to a USB port.

One more thing......

I found that using a Futaba Conquest radio, I had to turn it ON for it to be recognized ??

Is this correct ?? I thought it would run with the TX off.

Thanks for your replies guys !!

Steve
