Default Aerofly Pro interface problem

Hi Guys,

I purchased Aerofly Pro with the Futaba interface about a week ago. I have used it for about 20 hours and am starting to have a problem with the interface cable. When I ‘jiggle’ the connector where the DIN plugs attach to each other the controls in the sim jump and the aircraft goes out of control momentarily. Obviously there is a bad connection in there somewhere. And yes, I have been extremely gentle with the cable since it appears quite fragile.

Has anyone taken one of these things apart? The problem seems to lie in the Airtonics (?) plug through which the Futaba plug connects to the sim cable. There are only two wires – can I merely cut the non-futaba plug out of the circuit or do these two wires contain coaxial cables (in which case I would rather not screw around with them) ?
