Default Heat Hobby's "FS kingkong trucks ?

I was looking at some of the 5th scale trucks that heat hobby has, and wondering if they were any good ? what are the pro's & cons on these cheap priced trucks ? Compared to the king motor baja 5b are they any good. Out the box, can they keep up with the king baja & the box say's it goes up to 50 mph, is that true ?

whats your look on these trucks guys !

don't waste your money on fs. i had one and they are VERY cheap quality. bad engines, servo's ect.
although heat hobby has good customer service the fs brand is not worth the money.

I've talked to an owner and seen FS in person
if you dont plan on doing any major jumps and just light parking lot bashing/baseball diamond bashing then they are ok but go any further and things start breaking and flying off.

I have one, but thank god I got over trying to make it durable! The KM (or just about anything) is way better in all respects except it's only 2wd.

Here is a good forum if you want to know more about the FS:
http://fsracing4wd.proboards.com/index.cgi

You will see from my old posts the amount of time I spent fixing it..

Heat Hobby will have the KM T1000 (newest version) in stock in about a month. I bought one when they got their first batch and I'm very pleased.

FS is not so bad. It just need some upgrades and modifications to work without breakages (more cheap modificatios and much less upgrades). My FS took part in some local competitions and have no problems.

I write a lot of info on our Russian forum, but is too hard to translate all in English. So i just can show some albums

http://foto.mail.ru/mail/maxdor05/23 some upgrades are not necessary
