RE: MCD HAS A NEW TRUCK COMING OUT.
here is what king cobra has to say about it New BAJA 1000 Pro Truck
MCD have just released their new 4 wheel drive Baja 1000 Pro Truck.
See the awsome pictures of the new MCD Pro Truck kicking up the sand roosters from all four wheels during its race testing.
This is a model of a typical Pro Truck as used in the Baja race series, and it does look good!
Based on the new MCD Race Runner, this new model has all the credentials to do the business and still look good.
The black moulded nylon rear spoiler is included in the box - even though the real Baja Pro Trucks don't actually use them - it just looks good, but the Baja purist may prefer to leave it off?
This car has standard fit 1/6 wheels and tyres, so any of the most popular ones from FG/MCD/****/Horman etc can be used.
This model would also make a nice change from the usual buggy bodies we all see at the club races, but with HPI and MCD already making a BAJA race car, and the FG Baja Buggy soon to follow, maybe this could be the start of a new racing class for Baja cars? If so, then we could see a very attractive new off-road racing class unfold this year.

RE: MCD HAS A NEW TRUCK COMING OUT.
Hi guys, I think that this is just a race runner with a new shell and wheels. We always see this from FG and i think MCD are doing the same thing, but one thing i will say is that the more new hop-ups the better seing everybody with the same motors is borring

The Baja 1000 is based on the Race Runner Chassis, but it will have the Long Travel front shock Set-up on it. The Pricing is yet to be determined, but should fall between a Monster Truck and Race Runner. www.LargeScaleRC.com will have the first shippment in 2-3 weeks.

RE: MCD HAS A NEW TRUCK COMING OUT.
Yes it does. I expect RTR Price to be around 2G (assessories dependent of course) if its priced accordingly to the rest of the MCDs. Worth the money though, or 2 Bajas for comparrison.
