Your car is fantastic, don't give up!, get the motor where you want and add some Nitrous! It keeps it fun every time you make a pass!
Here is my custom built dragster from wing to wing measuring in at 8ft with 90cc Solo motor on pump gas and NOS and New era rear end.
The funny car is 100% stock, no NOS yet!

Anyway Keep at it! Don't let that dragster just sit on the shelf, it was built to RUN!

Hi All,
I have kept the 'rail on the shelf. Can't bring myself to sell it off. I think the main engine problem is sucking in air thru the crank seals at such high RPM; as this motor was NEVER designed to pull 17,280 RPM

So it's on the shelf until i finish project #2.

One day I can re-visit this and solve the problems; once I have some more experience under my belt. Don't worry I will NEVER give up.

In the meantime here's what has been distracting me from RC stuff

A 1937 Dodge D5 sedan

1983 Jag XJ6 front & rear suspension, Toyota Aristo front seats, 1991 Aussie Holden VN Calais 5.0 L V8 + electrics/ECU + A/C + pwr windows + cruise control + climate control + bluetooth + reverse camera +....................well you get it - full -on poverty pack inside. Jag rear seat, Headwinds headlamps,

and a serious attitude.

Looked at some Frankenstein figures on fleabay tonite to see if I can stick a little figure on the dashboard........Dodge-en-stein

as it's gonna be green. Same as a Holden colour called Atomic Green.

Cheers, Mudgy.

It's going really well! A lot of work has been done. Had a harddisk-crash a while ago on my computer so i haven't got myself to add some new pics yet, but they will come soon. I managed to install a new harddisk (whilst installing a new circuitboard for the speed controller in my lathe ) so i am pretty pleased with that

Hello everyone,
I haven't been here for SSOOO long..... Just wanted to check in and say G'day.
Is Vass still making awesome stuff?
Did Reiko finish the monster truck?
Is Stoneyberk done with the funny car?

What's going on in large scale? I hope it hasn't died.....

Me? The dragster has about 4mm of dust on it...... embarrassing, I know.
But, I am still plugging away on my 1:1 project....

Coming along nicely, a good excuse for not playing with the dragster. Would love to see update pics on this, love the colour.

Thanks mate, the front left is a falcon colour, emerald green. The front left is Capricornia Mica, off a VR Commodore...a bit too dark I reckon.
At the moment, I'm really digging VE Commodore green called Poison Ivy. It's in between those two greens. I reckon that's the colour to go with.
The chassis has been heavily modified to accept the 5 litre, and I want full rego, so I'm going 120% to keep my engineer happy.

Cheers, Mudgy

Hi There Sheograth,

What's happening here? Has the RC world slowed a bit, reached a plateau of sorts?
I'm guessing the new fad is drones, right?

I haven't checked in here for so long.... must have been busy or something.

Cheers to all the people still involved, and a big cheers to all the home builders

G'day large scalers,

Here's a little update on the 1:1 scaler

Tail shaft and fuel tank to go, then I can start thinking about putting the body back on top.

Cheers, Mudgy
