yet ANOTHER Baja 5B brakes topic
sorry to keep hounding you guys about the brakes, but.....
Is there some way to adjust the neutral position of the brake shoes? I feel as if even when the throttle is neutral or even engaged, the brake is just BARELY engaged and causing some unneeded friction. Is there some adjustment built into the system?

Just run it for a while. If it is still new, ENJOY the hard fast stopping you have, cause once it is gone, stopping requires "Planning and throttle management"...... LOL.
Once they are ran for a few tanks, they loosen up.

There is also some shims on the back side of the rear brake pad you can take out(closest to the spur gear) that might also help
the shims look like this..
