I've just acquired a Smartech 1/5 scale "Ranger" 2WD with a 23cc gas motor. Problem is, I've got the car and a "Challenger" TX but no manuals for either.

I've already checked the site but can't seem to find anything to help.

What are you having trouble with?

Don't have a clue as to all to functions the TX offers and no clue as to factory specs for mixing ratio.

I generally run 25:1 in all my 1/5 cars, thats a safe ratio.

As for radio functions, im not familiar with your radio but you may have trims, end point adjustments, and steering rate knobs. Mess around with them when the engine is off to see what they all do.

Hey FB, is there any 1/5 scale racing by you? Im asking because i'll be moving to Texas in a little over a year and I couldnt find any 1/5 scale clubs down there online. I know 1/4 scale is popular down there.

I'm not sure about the racing...I have heard there is a track somewhere around Rendon or Mansfield.

I ran my car in front of the house this morning...runs great, but I think the gear lash needs some work.
