Will not start after stall. See inside for details
I did a quick search but really nothing as to what I have. I was not driving the FG MT at the time with a stock 26 Zen with a FG tuned pipe at the time so I don't know if it slowly got sluggish but it did stall and will not re start. Although I was present and operating the Marder so I know it did not die out due to water.
Symptoms-
-The truck was being operated in wet mud, temperature outside was just above feezing point.
-I noticed no excessive smoke out exhaust while it was operating
-truck has alot of oil residue out exhaust oil soaking body and rear shock.
-air filter is soaked in raw gas.
-alot of fuel/oil spraying out spark plug hole while pulling cord with no spark plug.
-plug is fuel soaked.
-new plug did not fix
It seem flooded but the raw gas on the airfilter is odd and alot of fuel coming out plug hole and if tipped upside down fuel runs out head. Should I start with carb problem or piston ring? or?

I checked it. The exhaust is clear. Thanks though. I'm thinking all this fuel running back into the air filter is a sign of something.

clean it down, throw in a new plug and remove the air filter and try to start it up. if the the filter is soaked in fuel its like have the choke on

always check these 3 things -
Does it have compression?
Does it have spark?
Does it have fuel?
These are all you need to start a mower...right up to a 100T truck. They all work the same
This year I had to repair a brand new leaf blower - one of the welch plugs in the carb came loose, flooding the engine.
is your fuel clean?
sometimes dirt & dust can work its way to the H & L needles, too.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to try to get it going again today. I know it has good spark, plug is new again, compression is there but seem a little easier to pull over then the Marder engine, Has a whole lot of fuel....

If it is flooding without any changes to the needles, I would guess dirt in the metering valve. I mostly run two stroke gas in planes, but a Walbro is a Walbro, or Zama a Zama. The carbs all work the same. If the metering valve is stuck, it will either have no fuel or too much, depending on which way it's stuck.

WHAT A BASH, INDEED!!! However, i agree with Mudgy. If its not start, the only faults are 1)no fuel, 2)no spark, 3)no air. In your situation, plus the dirty "inside of engine" . I can get that you had your best times ever there

Was as many guess water sucked in. I looked and smelled like fuel running out but did not burn on the bench. So after draining and drying, then a few pulls it started up and stumbled for a few minutes and cleared out. Thanks all for your advise and hopefully this will help someone else later on.
I would estimate total amount of water drained is between 1 and 2 tablespoons.
