RE: help
That would be an XRC-1 1/5th scale car, looks like its missing the front bumper or we just don't see it on the pics. Comes with a 23cc engine.
Your right it does look similar to the Technokit 1/5th scale but the XRC's come with a silver/Grey engine and the Technokit are black except for the EXS GTS which is green, the Technokit's engine are G230 (Zen) which the XRC's aren't.

RE: help
What is the price he is selling it to you.
You can find parts for it from VS modelsport, they have many parts for XRC cars.
It sure does look like an XRC ,with that cheaply made Zenoah clone on it.
P.S is it me or does the chassis look to be slightly bent.

RE: help
That is an xrc the motor is the xrc clone with the plug coming in on an angle(even has stock xrc battery), and it does look to be bent. Yes you can get parts for it, but is it worth it? How much is he selling it to you for? Does it even come with a body?

RE: help
Yes, that is one REALLY bent chassis. Who knows what else is bent, or out of alignment/missing. If you are new to 1/5th (as it sounds like you are), then STEER CLEAR if I was you, unless the price is VERY right, like free. This is very much a case of 'you'd have to pay me to take it away'. I'm against 2nd hand RC in general unless you really know the car has been well looked after. This one clearly hasn't. Walk away.

RE: help
I, however, am a fan of buying second hand but I would still say pass on this unless it's real cheap, than it might be worth it as an educational experience. You can get an off road xrc buggy brand new for 500 dollars.

RE: help
The guy bought it new a few weeks ago, off ebay had it running for like ten min and hit a curb, he was honest and did tell me that, and that the body was trashed so,
No body
No transmitter
Bent frame
and thats all I know
He said $150.00
I really dont care about fixing it (part of the fun for me) just dont want to spend more than it is worth on parts. It would probably just sit on the shop wall I like 1/8 scale truggys and being that the local track wont let something that big on just a project or maybe build a 23cc tmaxx?
Thanks for the advice
Anyone think that 150 is too much?
