ok good let me know what your plug looks like when the time comes

Well my plug was a little darker than I like. The insulator was dark brown and the electrode was black so I'll lean it out a bit when I get it fixed. I was in the process of tuning it when I broke the shock. One problem I'm having is in the steering. I had to shim the 2 crankbells tonight to get rid of all of the play and I'm still having trouble getting the steering to center correctly. I tried to get the front end apart but the screws that hold the front to the main chassis were stripped on installation so I couldnt completely remove the top plate and therefore had to shim it from the top. Problem there is that my servo saver screw has to be backed off so that it does not dig into the chassis. Hopefully all of the steering balls will loosen up with use.

just for everyone info when you replace the clutch shoes with 15448 - High Response Clutch Shoe & Spring Set besides the hpi bolts you will need the washers part

part number for the clutch bolts are : 15443

the washers are : 15442

I found this out the hard way

I just reused the stock bolts even though they werent the proper diameter. Ill get the correct ones this week at some point.

Lol. My girlfriend drove my highlift for the first time (never drove an rc car before) and after maybe 5-6 seconds wanted to know where 3rd gear was! So I went and being me wanting the biggest thing I can get my hands on bought a Baja for the sole reason to take to her parents house and drive in the 200 acres of smokey mountains they have.

Got my HPI baja ss shocks today, VERY NICE... the shafts are twice the diameter of the originals. Hopefully up and running soon. PS. dont bleed air from your new shocks while sitting on the couch...ask me why.

My 001 (from Heat hobby) came in today and although I am not normally a chrome guy it looks pretty hot with the chrome chassis. This is my 2nd car from them and I must say they have the best customer service in the business, James is wonderful. I will soon be buying a 3rd and it will come from them. Also got my tuned pipe from them today.
