This idea has been on the books for some time now. Many people have done this type of project but not of this caliber. I had the engines, but this is johns ( www.quartermortar.com ) brain child. He has had many sleepless nights designing and dreaming of such a machine. Work started a few weeks ago and progress is good. Lots of new techniques were tested with this car. The end result will surely be a car that is talked about for a lifetime. Code name.... "Hot Shot"

uh what kind of electronics you going to run in that and whats the estimated top speed? i mean whats the run time?

mate its a rail...don't have to run for too long, and by that (motor) I think it still means "sucks the juice".....have a look at knobbys early build and you can see the IV bag empty before your eyes


and you're right, Mr Foster is a very talented fella

i suspect it wont run very fast. its not a really powerful engine, plus its kinda vintage. Thats what i liked about the engine. It looks really cool. I have another one that runs on propane. That one is going to be put in a funny car jet dragster later. so much stuff to get built and not enough time...

its a turbine engine more fuel = more power..... more fuel pressure should take care of that hahaha

Love this project Mike, particularly the louvres in the alloy at the rear.
Only problem will be covering up that work with paint. What a shame. I'd leave the alloy work in bare metal.
