Don't fly that. It will cause you neck damage or some eye strain. Box it up and send it to me where I can keep it from hurting anyone

Hey you did good have fun with it!

See if Scorpio can help you there in that department. Should be able to supply you with one or at least the dimension to make one. Either way, you made out good on the deal. have fun with it. Not liable for the back pains and eye strain.

What your not done with it yet? Whats the hold up here. Should have been flying that puppy today...

Easy build to make the rudder Trace the fin out on paper and the TLAR method. Should come close to someting that will work for ya!

Please do post a shot or two when you do.

well guys its arrived. and its better then described. it was described to have rudder missing and pushrods and wing joiner. the pushrods and wing joiner had slid to the back of the fus and had to be shaken loose. so everything is there apart from rudder.

Good points
The wings are an intresting feature. all ribs are 1/8th balsa and so is the wing sheeting. along with spruce spars. the wings are very lite and very very strong. the wood used is exceptional and is normaly what you would find in a top quality kit. same goes for the elevators top quality and very very well built.

covering on the model is very strong and cleanly applied. no edges lifting or wrinkled.

accessorys are of good quality, metal clevises not plastic and a set of good instructions.

Down side
fiberglass fus is built well however there are tiny imperfections where they have been joined all way allong the seams. they will need fine sanding and touching up.
pushrods are not upto par, will flex way too easy and only has 2 mounting points. will be replacing with snakes.

all in all im very happy with it and its worth 9/10 in my eyes. especialy after picking the kit up at under a quarter of its shelf price.
will put some pictures up later.

well she flew but only for 20 seconds. day was a warm day with a gental breeze, did all the checks and got myself to the top of the hill and let her go. 2 things happend, she darted to the left due to the cross wind, secondly the rudder seemed very slow and delayed. anyway brought her round and the plane snapped to the left and i lost allot of hight. secondly very sensative to the elevator. my conclusion is its slightly tail heavy as when i brought it in to land it tip stalled about 3 feet from the ground and broke the left wing tip off. no big deal its a clean brake on the joint and just requires abit of epoxy to glue back on. so that put a stop to the test flights. all in all it needs more weight up front so il see if i can sqeeze the battery pack right up the nose. secondly i found the rudder pushrod flexs inside the fus so il spray a quick shot of expanding foam down the fiberglass fus to trap the pushrod outers and that will be theend of that problem. wing tip will glue back on easy enough.

so i will carry out the adjustments and repairs as needed then report back in a few days when i have done a second flight on her and maybe a third if all goes well. dont you just love the teathing problems one gets with a new model haha. the link is to the short video of the maiden.
