Balance head after rebuild
After a crash I replaced about half the head linkage, flybar, paddles, blades.....
Other than getting a balancer and removing the shaft and all the ganglia , how would I get the flybar and paddles balanced. So far I just did lots of precise measurements to make sure the flybar was centered and the paddles are within a few mils of each other with reference to the center by clamping a dial indicater to the boom and rotating the works.
I have a blade balancer for the blades. Can I assume the new paddles are pretty much equal weight from the factory?
Thanks,
