Raptor V1 Main Rotor Grip play
I had a very bad vibration today on my Raptor 50 while hovering and when I landed and checked things I found a lot of play in the main rotor grips that I hadn't noticed before.
Where can I find shims to take up the slack between the Main Rotor Grips and the Hub?

If everything is built the way it should be, I wouldn't think there should be a need to add additional shims. Pull out the manual and check things over, maybe something missing or your dampers are worn. Something doesn't sound right. I have a titan, no slack in mine when put together as per the manual.

RE: Raptor V1 Main Rotor Grip play
I just found a deal on a V2 metal head so I plan to change it out before the week-end and I know that will eliminate my problem.
Thanks for the post.

the balls that are silver and have screws to hold them in place, with plastic hoops sround them to move. They are located on the head and servo arms.I just wiggled my around and you can see where the play is coming from, which ones are loose,or tighten them all up.its just the scress are skinnyer than the inside of the hole in the ball

OK I just checked them and they all seem tight. Today is supposed to be nice so I will try it and see if it happens again before I change the head.
Thanks,
Today wasn't nice so I installed the new all Metal head Mavrikk 1010 sure looks nice and can't wait to try it.
