Below is the finished article and imo it looks pretty good.
I've learnt alot fixing this so while it was a pain in the ass that I whacked it at least I've learned a new skill

Great job Colin !!
I just completed a similar repair on my AT-3. I saved about $650.00 repairing the fuse myself instead of buying a new front fuse.
The hard part was matching the paint.
Good luck with the maiden.
