not sure I would risk messing up the JL scale landing gear on a grass field... There are lots of choices out there for a P-70
-any 1/8th scale F-16
-pst panther
-CARF flash or Ultra Flash
-BVM Bandit, T-33, 60" F-86
-Aviation Design Phoenix
-Avonds Rafale
-JL T-45, Hawk, CT-114, Grippen
-Tams A-4, F-16
and a bunch of not-so-attractive introductory jets...

Come on guys, it's a sin to put any small block in a Flash/Ultra Flash.

I'm with KC...the Flash is just begging for more BTU's than a P-70 can deliver.

I agree 100%!! No less then a 31# engine in it, or you won't get the full limits of the Flash. I would think it would be a slow poke with a 70 in it.

Now, if you want a laugh or use imagination, modify any 80+ inch ws ARF........lol

Yeah we have two flashes at our field. One with a Wren SS and one with a super eagle. Night and day difference. I think I'm going to go with modellbau F-86. Its not the prettiest but looks to fly great.

it's a VERY versatile engine for many small block airframes, if you have one you don't want, send it to me, i'll put it to good use.

Hi all, those who comment on the spool up of a P-70, don't know how to walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.
Rather than just burn holes in the sky, you might want to actually plan your maneuvers, ahead of time.
From this thread, it is easy to see who are the good flyer's.

I won't no any difference if there is any lag. I'm coming from an FTE-500

Anyway, I'm re-thinking my F-86 Dog decision. I just can't get over that nose. The search continues!

I'm sure Global's got the dimensions of wing span and fuselage reversed

If you want to build, Reaction 54...........
an excellent combination with a P-70, literally lands at a crawl and will still scoot 180 mph. i acquired mine less then a month ago and have managed to log 36 flights on it and having an absolute ball with it.

if the T45 is still on your list, check with Mike Lin at Global Jet Club.

Ridiculous comment there Pete.

Pete, You have a false interpretation of Frank's humorous comment. Frank's skill and time on the sticks prove otherwise. [8D]
