Regarding my post from the other thread. My f22 is a sky master version. So disregard fuel tank comment.
It does fly great on tailerons though! I do have rudders but there is far too much coupling.
I have set a mix up but still don't use them. I do use rudders for speed brake. Both rudders go in. Works good too.

Mav, 200mm should be ok for first flight. Be sure to program 40% expo to slow the stabs down if you use the full 50mm travel. I settled on 80% DR of the 50mm with 40% expo. I dont like my sticks touchy, especially with a fast airplane.

Files are large so this is taking several posts.
Just a note. The fuel in the one tank is the TOTAL unusable fuel with BOTH tanks in the level position sitting on the table. I transfered the unusable fuel to this one tank as I was easier to weigh. These are the GJC tanks. I had one that decided to seep a bit over the last few months since it had fuel put in it. I have only to report some very good customer service with GJC. I contacted them and they are sending me a replacment tank for free! I love companies that value the relationship with their customers. I regret not getting the GJC version of this airplane. On that note, if I can sell this one I will buy the GJC version and build another one. I love this bird.

I wanted to also mention that during approach and go-arounds the amount of unusable fuel will be substantially reduced with positive pitch attitude. So even though it looks like lots of fuel you must keep in mind that a level attitude doesn't fairly represent a flameout fuel state.

Pics of the fuel line. The black stuff is anti-static line. I plumb my shutoff valve on the intake side of the pump after a bad experience with a runaway fuel pump. The pump went to full voltage output, the turbine was shut down with the TX operated solenoid valve but for some reason the pump kept running. This caused the fuel lines from the pump to the solenoid valve to blow up like a balloon and burst. The pump continued to pump fuel all over the airplane, filling the bottom 1/2" of the fuselage, and the hot turbine just above the fuel. Not good. We eventually got the ECU battery unplugged but was quite a scare. Injury and total loss of airplane could have resulted if it weren't for some quick recognition and action to counter the problem. So in short if you cut the fuel up stream of the pump it can't feed the fire if it decides to run uncontrollably. I also like to have access to remove power to the ECU if needed. To that end, does anyone know where I can get a barbed #6 Festo ball valve? I really shouldn't be using a push in festo in a suction application. Always try to use barbs on suction and the push in type for pressure systems.

I use stock tanks plus a hopper that feeds the UAT. 8 min with P140.

I`m building a JL F-22 and would like to know what you recommend regarding turbine size.
I have both ATJ140 kero start and a ATJ170 gas start to chose from. Fuel consume? Weight? JL fuel tanks or GJ tanks
