Replacement Canopy for Tamjets 1/8th Scale F-16
Can someone please let me know where I could possibly find a replacement canopy and plastic for the Tamjets 1/8th scale F-16? I cracked mine in a move and I don't think the plastic will hold up any longer. Thanks for any help people can provide.

I don't think you may be able to find an exact one but my best bet would be to try to buy a Jet Legend canopy and trim to fit, it should be very similar in size.
PS, a skymaster or Fly Eagle should also be close un size, but I have a gut feeling that JL should be the best fit.

Hey Glenn, long time no see...
Sorry for not replying earlier, just got a new job a few weeks back ind its been a little busy lately...
Anyhow, Paul's correct but there's a catch... Tam made 2 different F-16s in that size. The 1st was a shared effort with Cermark. The wings/stabs/fin were built up and monocote covered on this version. The 2nd version was all composite, had gear doors and so on. The easiest way to tell, the early one had ailerons while the comp version did not as far as I know. The canopy may be identical for all I know.
I have the 1st version with built up fins, actually 2 of them. The 1st one was damaged in a ground run on a grass runway. The nose wheel got stuck in a rut and it delaminated the front 1/2 of the fuselage. Everything is in great shape, but i seriously doubt it'll ever fly again. I've since aquired a 2nd identical jet to move the hardware over and keep going...
If you need spares, PM or email me and we'll talk. I have plenty of spare parts for that jet, and they're getting harder to come by...
Hope to see you in Princeton...

Thanks for the help Kelly!
I've got the full composite version. Tam was in fact able to help me out with the Canopy so I think all will be great.

OK Guys I acquired a Tam Jet G2 F-16 that was damaged, the only thing missing is the canopy and canopy frame.
Does anyone have one that they can part with?
Also I could use the front former drawings (nose damage) which would save me from re-creating in AutoCAD.
Thanks
