Look great, thanks for sharing!
Have you been able to fine clear pictures of the seat placards, in particular the one on the left side? I have an okay pictures I was going to post, but uploading pictures seems to stop at 90%. Doesn't seem to matter the size of type of file, all stop at 90%. What's the trick?

Anyways, all the seat pictures I have are okay as guidance to make seat decals, but not clear enough to actually read, or to print them out a as waterslides

Very cool - are you an existing manufacturer/seller of other scale goodies? Got a website or anything of stuff you've already got available or is this the first set of things you're making?

Impressive work all around.

I’m just a humble scale enthusiast, merely hobby . Me and a good friend who’s also a dedicated scale enthusiast such as I has decided on producing for our own enjoyment some parts for our own scale projects such as the Y/A 1/7 F-18 , parts that we found unavailable on the market as far as we know .
Coming on this thread I thought to share our activity to whom it may concern as to the described parts now and in the future who might be interested in some of our stuff merely to suport the fellow community .
We will figure out prices later . We have no intention to turn this into a business , perhaps to cover our expenses plus a minor profit margin due to the work involved , nothing else

I’ve got a favor to ask of anyone with this plane. I have a copy of the manual and have found that the neutral position of the horizontal stabs should be with the leading edges aligned with the upper edge of the formation lights...my problem is I have no formation lights. Or rather, if those panel lines ever existed, they were filled with primer and paint or sanded right off long ago. The way I see it, should be pretty straight forward to measure down from the vertical stab/fuselage joint down to the leading edge of the horizontals. Could someone provide that measurement with their horizontal stabs at neutral? Hope that makes sense.

Even a nice straight from the side picture would help, like 3 view profile.

Lavi, hugely helpful already, and makes me cry a bit that I don't have those wonderful panel lines. If I could press you one step further, any chance you could provide this measurement? If not I understand, I suspect I can get pretty close just by visual. Thanks again!

No problem .
But one simple way of alignment is that the stabilizer trailing edge at root lines up inline with the turkey feathers of the exhaust on the model when in neutral position

Where does the weight usually add up in these builds? The one I'm renovating right now I've pulled a good bit of "stuff" out and rearranged a bunch more to be able to remove some lead, and I'm still at 47lbs dry. This is the old/original version kit (with a beefed up forward/main spar) with a single turbine (Rhino SE). This one was also modified to a D model so I've got two cockpits and pilots, but to hear of some as light as 35 lbs while I'm looking at 47, I'm hoping there is a secret brick hidden somewhere that I just haven't found yet! Or maybe my Xicoy scales are just out of whack, but I've verified them with a dumbell weight and they should be good.

F18F Driver. I think you can still get kit from Funkey. Charles has retired but the manufacturer is still around I believe. I saw a rep for Funkey on RCU that had his email posted

I purchased quite a few parts for the F-18 twin a few years ago from Jason. He is slow to respond to email and he never responded to my home email, but would answer emails from my work email address. I asked him at tat time if he sold complete kits and he confirmed that he could. Have not tried him since I retired.
