One week closer!
Sounds like 4 folks from IA so far will be attending. Todd, will you also make it?
If anyone "new" is planing to attend or thinking about it, would you send me a note or pm?
i need to get the number for dinner as close as we can for planing.
see you all soon,
Dave

I thought I would try this one more time...as we are getting closer to the event and I am guessing on the number of pilots for dinner.
Everyone that attended last year has been included except George
For everyone else thinking about it, come out and give it a try, unless you don't like a closed runway with lots of space and no traffic.

Hmm. Well, I will ask a final time:
Anyone else from MN or WI going to make it?
WE are all set otherwise, should be a fun and relaxing time with wide open space and no waiting to fly.

We will be setting up just a bit more to the North this year.
Pilots can enter through the airport entrance in the morning and ext in the evening. The airport/runway entrance will be close when we are flying. We will use the campground road, just to the west, for all other traffic during flying times.
Pilots will still park trailers perpendicular to the runway as far west on the grass as possible.

One last call for the IA, WI, MN, ND, SD, NE, IL, MO folks to come and fly.
I think we have about 10-12 right now attending.
The "tent city" will be up Wed evening (weather permitting). Thursday to Sunday - FLY!
Sat night dinner at field, raffle to follow.

Well I think we have 10 for sure..I unfortunately have not heard from at least 7 other folks (wi, mn, il, sd) so I guess they won't be here...
that means you are definitely going home with a BVM raffle prize for sure!
It looks like warm weather mostly south wind (down the runway ) as expected.
We have room at this site for many more pilots, trailers and planes with wide open space for flying with no full scale traffic.
Please post any questions, I will follow until Tuesday night.
Thanks again to the crossed signals club and the town of new hampton!
