Back to the original topic... Good luck with FEJ part deux. Hope they can make their original customers whole again and if they are able to in fact put out a structurally sound product, have good response from the public. Competition is good for everybody.

Interesting. When you read Disco's posts some are written with good grammar and spelling etc and some are very poor. I am wondering if more than one person has access to the Disco account

You all seem very thin-skinned in regards to FEJ. Why all the fuzz? I think no one is buying their jets anymore anyways...

Maybe I am wrong, but I interpreted Disco's comment about the accident with the hurt hobbyist as very nasty, but clearly meant ironic in regard to the exaggerated FEJ hate. I can be wrong though :P Nothing worse than taunting a fellow jet flier who got hurt in an accident.

If everyone blocked Disco he would be done, just click on his profile and on the left of the screen it will say "Add to ignore list", click on that and you are done. I'm tired of seeing his posts and now I don't anymore!

I don't think he should be banded from RCU for his point of view...Just ignore him if you don't like what he is saying. Joined since 2005 I'm sure he have the right to comment.

Just my opinion.

Opinions are usually substantiated by something. He just out right lies and spreads rumors he makes up in his sick trolling head. He is the troll of all trolls. 90 percent or more of what he says is a lie. Here's a perfect example, besides all the non sense he posted here.

See that's why I do my own research..and never base a decision on just one person opinion. About FEJ...there is no way you can ignore the failure rate of "SOME"or their Jets..but how much would welcome a full apology and a promise to improve FEJ product line? I think he was trying to make the case but fall short lol.

P.S I still think they need to show a step by step process and welcome any modification from experience RCU builders.

Just my opinion

I hear you man...I'm just against the "Ban" word being used because of conflicting interest. Same thing happen to a good friend of mine "Bryce Watson" was banned from rcu I think for no reason.

Well. I think there should be a " Sticky " thread started that is sanctioned and moderator approved that is for the sole purpose of discussing, arguing and raising hell about any and all subjects and people. No holes barred. Let it all out, talk about peoples mamma's, what ever. Put all the bull***t in one place and then if this is where you have to exist to be someone, you can just cuss and talk trash till your heart is content. Kinda of like after a bad day of work coming home and kicking the dog. That way the rest of the threads can be about things of merit and knowledge sharing that I THINK that RCU was originally created for. That was so long ago I think we have all lost sight of that. I think it might just be what the Doctor ordered... sorta of a soul cleansing. .

Maybe he has some kind of multiple personality disorder, one moment it is the know-all expert at everything, the next it is the troublemaking, lie spreading maniac with bad grammar?

Here's another about the KingTech ECU's refuted by Gaspar himself after Disco said he'd talked to Gaspar;

To me anyone that doesn't even show his name has zero credibility to start with. But that's me.

This thread had originally been removed from public view because of all the crap that had been ongoing in it. However, when my Jet Moderator asked me about the possibility of banning a member I came across this thread in researching that member and I have decided that after cleaning up this thread it can come back to the open forum. Since a manufacturer has used this thread to announce a product I feel that we should make every effort to leave the thread open in the forum. Therefore, I have cleaned all the useless crud out of the thread and moved this thread back into the open forum. Many of you will notice that there are huge chunks missing from this thread now, that's because I cut out anything that I felt didn't apply to the original topic of the thread. However, I am going answer a couple of questions below since I think that they are important and then that will be the last "off topic" posts that are going to be allowed here.

Nobody is every banned from RCU for their opinions. That's not going to happen EVER. However, members do get banned from RCU for their actions. A member that continually causes problems in the forums, attacks members, ignores moderators instructions, and simply does whatever they want regardless of the rules is going to eventually get banned. There is a member here that is pretty much at that point. I am sorry but I can't discuss a members username about who that is, but I have researched back and the member in question has been given ample opportunities to change his actions here on RCU however he chooses to continue to act in the same manner. The sands in the hourglass are pretty much ran down.

Dr. Danno
I won't promise that we will make a thread like this a sticky at the top of the forum. And a thread like this will not be a "free for all" where the rules of RCU get to be ignored, but we do allow many different segments of the RC Communities on RCU to have a "Hangout" thread such as this. They don't really have any giving topic other than they are a place for all the jet community (in this case) to come together and talk about whatever they feel like chewing the fat about on a given day. We have done this for the Car Guys, the Tank guys, and a few others as well. So if you all want to start a similar "Hangout" thread you have my blessing in doing so. Just remember, while there isn't a given topic it has to follow, it does have to follow the rest of the rules of RCU such as not attacking each other, cussing, porn, etc. I think you all get the idea of what I'm talking about. And as far as my making it a sticky, if you all are in it every day I won't have to make it a sticky as it will stay up at the top on it's own. That's they way the Car Guy's thread does.

One guy ruins RCU only if you let him. As was pointed out elsewhere, you can always put somebody on your ignore list and you will never see any post from that person ever again. I know a lot of people do that and it's made them much happier. But like I said, if you don't let the person ruin your experience here they can't ruin it.

I think I've covered just about everything. If anybody has any questions please PM me and don't clog this thread up any longer.

Thanks Ken for pointing this out. I still find many useful posts on RCU in spite of the "trashing" threads like this one and the other one currently going on. I read those for entertainment and all of the others for the great information they contain.

As far as the new FEJ aircraft are concerned, including the new Hawk, I have heard the comment that they have "turned the corner" and are building better aircraft. 'The proof of the pudding is in the eating' as the Brits say - lets see this jet build up a 100 flights or so, and let's see FEJ make all of their customers whole with the airplanes that they've ordered and then we'll see...

FEJ I don't think advertising your new products here will get you much if any good publicity. The only way you will do that is to improve and demonstrate that you have greatly improved your building methods and also done right by the people who have been let down by you in the past

Hi

I doubt many are willing to take the leap of faith that FEJ is suddenly building a better plane. I just hope people don't get too bad a case of amnesia and remember that these guys have demonstrated again and again what kind of people they are. If a company shows an utter apathy about safety, a complete contempt for their own customers (once they've gotten their money) and a profound absence of anything resembling integrity... why should it matter if they start cranking out new products? How many outright lies would they have to post? How many fake accounts would they have to make in order to skew their perceived support? Even if their product were suddenly not such a stupid investment, they're sure not the kind of people who deserve a penny of my business.

But what I wanted to say I love the the firmness of the airax skin materal, when I pick this f16 up it feels soilder and doesn't coke can like my skymasters, or Carf Jets.

If you guys could fix your customers services and help those who have been screwed in the past then maybe your future will be brighter, but for now your name is so bad that I paid exactly $0 for your F16 as the owner didn't think it was worth the loss of all his equipment to fly your jet. Now that is bad
+1,

Look what's happened with BH, everyone can come back...

Just fix the customer service ... that would be half the battle...

When a person wont buy a FEJ model that's being given away (figuratively) because they have gotten no responses from FEJ in the past then that's bad

Hell, hire someone to respond to every email you might be a notch up on the rest of em

So what's the verdict on this Hawk? Anyone flying it? Seems like the perfect size. Really wish Skymaster would have one this size. The 97" Hawk isn't really that big and the 1/3 Hawk is too big.
