Isn't his a rebuilt, improved version anyway? Knowing Bob, he's fixed all the issues so it's not really an FEJ

I contacted Bob Bush a few days, along with most R-66 Club Members, asking him what his ETA might be as he had been absent of late.

I quote his prompt response:
"Hi, Roger
I miss you guys! Have been beset with model problems lately. The F-100 is grounded, waiting for parts. Two years ago I built an A-4 from Skymaster. Took it to Toledo '13 it was a hit with it's complete replacement of air with hydraulic. But it went in due to flutter after 10 flights (my fault due to inadequate rudder servo).
A year ago I bought a Fly Eagle, A-7 Corsair II. So many changes were required I'm just now test flying it (you all have banned FE, understandable) mine is airworthy but not ready yet for competition but I do plan to have it at the DOG's show. So, good to hear from you. Hope to see you next year."

Subsequently I responded:
[TABLE="class: cf adz"]
[TR]
[TD="class: ady"]"to Bob

Oh yea Bob I am well aware of your A-4.....I sure want to eyeball it! ! ! !

Good luck at Dogs....delighted it back on the agenda.

Cheers, Roger"

9 days till "RT 66 Jets, 2015"

Returning this year is Jack Beetz, who we haven't seen in a while. Also, verified returning are Wayne McCosker, & Charles Shull. I think they've attended every year.
Who else is attending that we haven't heard from yet?

Great news Don. I assume the guys will be coming up thru St Louis. Tell the guys to be sure a fill up with gas in Missouri. Seems like it is always really expensive in Illinois.
Jason and I are leaving early afternoon on Wednesday as well. See you next week.

Unfortunately this his one is the only one I'm current on. Ken it is available if you think we need it. It will require a bit more straps and foam though.

I'll have to check with Roger to see what the Litchfield runway capacity is.
Wonder how much corn we can knock down with those big wings?

Get you camera out Roger, I'm thinking that is gonna be one hell of a Bat turn at 9 x 27.

Maidened one of the birds I we are bringing this week. It went up and came down in one piece ---Keeper!

See you Wednesday evening. Got a couple of other Tulsa flyers headed that way on Thursday.
