Cool Strictly Scale has released detailed parts for all 1/7 scale F15!!

So Sean from Strictlyscale.com sent me his newest detail kit 1/7 scale F15 parts. These parts should work for any F15 that is 1/7 scale. I installed them on my FB F15E.

Sean includes a placement guide to help with placement. He also includes extra parts for the pieces that are easy to break. Also included are a few of the straight large antennas and a few that are swept. You need to study the S/N aircraft you are modeling to see which ones your uses.

My particular S/N aircraft that I modeled uses a combination of both and also had to sand one down some to get the correct shape since mine had one antenna that was different then all other F15s. Also the top antenna on my S/N is a little shorter then all the rest so I sanded it down some.

The parts are molded battleship gray and that is the proper FS color of the real F15 so no painting is required unless you want to or your plane is not painted the correct color. I painted the pitot tubes and angle of attack probes chrome silver. Then the airdata probes a darker flat color.

For the curved surfaces you simply lay some sand paper down on the fuselage and run the antenna your placing on it until its the right shape.

The end result looks great and well worth and evening of gluing stuff on. Price is only $85.00.

Hi Kris, I got a set for my plane as well .. they are quite nicely made! Now I just have to figure out how to not break them off as I load and unload the plane from the trailer :-)
