Woody told me about your request. I actually blocked a position for you on the list although you did not send us a deposit. But I now have a lot of people from Europe requesting a kit. So you'd better call Woody soon.

Batch 1 will get delivered in about 8 weeks from now. Maybe less than this, but I want to take my time for the very first airframes, as we stabilize our production process.
Batch 1 is sold out already and production has started.
Batch 2 lead time should be about 10 weeks from now.

Here is a short raw video of the Crusader on takeoff and landing.
Although this is by far not my best landing, I chose to display this one because it shows how well mannered the plane is at high angle of attack and low speed. It also shows the great elevator authority at low speed.
This is the result of the careful design of the stabilizer and outer wing section as well as many hours spent on the CFD software...

The main objectives when designing the stabilizer were to use an airfoil that would tolerate the 2" tip chord ( to retain good authority at low speed ) and be very resilient to making from the wing/ flaps in takeoff and landing configuration. Similarly, the goal while designing the wing was to modify an airfoil that would work well at low Reynolds number on the wing tip and would not degrade with extended slats. This to avoid wing tip stalls at low speed/ high AOA. Objectives achieved as you will see in the video...

Is this a flying target scheme? I found lots of Skyhawks but no Crusaders under VC-8. Very little info on the net.

It was used for drone control. As the drone took off, a T-28 would initially control it, and as it accelerated the F-8D would take over during high speed phase.

Here is a video of the F-8E in crosswind operations.
It is a very sweet flying aircraft. It's got a little bit of dutch roll when the gear is extended and the wing is up, which completely disappears in clean configuration:
