Buck, I have included you in our progress report system.
You will receive email notifications to log on our intranet and access your plane data.
Progress reports show pictures of your planes and stage description uploaded by the team leader making your plane.
This includes a QC requirement from him to show pictures of critical points like the stabilizers anti-rotation pins and shaft gluing, wing incidence plate gluing, wing tube and structure gluing, fin tubes and structure gluing, stabilizer block and bearing placement, nose interface gluing, etc...
This is another industry first that I have developed with our IT engineering team. It is coded into our Linux corporate intranet system. This is part of our ISO qualification for industrial and military contracts and has been extended to our hobby customers.
The name of the team leader responsible for your plane is Ajith Krishanta. He will get in touch with you soon.

You make me regret not buying that Mibo from you more and more all the time.
We are lucky to have you in this hobby man.

Woody told me about your request. I actually blocked a position for you on the list although you did not send us a deposit. But I now have a lot of people from Europe requesting a kit. So you'd better call Woody soon.

Here is a short raw video of the Crusader on takeoff and landing.
Although this is by far not my best landing, I chose to display this one because it shows how well mannered the plane is at high angle of attack and low speed. It also shows the great elevator authority at low speed.
This is the result of the careful design of the stabilizer and outer wing section as well as many hours spent on the CFD software...
The main objectives when designing the stabilizer were to use an airfoil that would tolerate the 2" tip chord ( to retain good authority at low speed ) and be very resilient to making from the wing/ flaps in takeoff and landing configuration. Similarly, the goal while designing the wing was to modify an airfoil that would work well at low Reynolds number on the wing tip and would not degrade with extended slats. This to avoid wing tip stalls at low speed/ high AOA. Objectives achieved as you will see in the video...

Here is a video of the F-8E in crosswind operations.
It is a very sweet flying aircraft. It's got a little bit of dutch roll when the gear is extended and the wing is up, which completely disappears in clean configuration:
