The smaller the deadlier...I wonder how long will take to develop a really small drone swarm that would act like a chemical or biological weapon.

I'm having a hard time understanding why did they air that story. I knew about drones used for jamming in a similar fashion, but to put it on TV...beats me. Pbly looking for funding, or weapons marketing.

These are technology proof of concepts so the articles are doing just what they want (free advertising of potential capability for future). Right now they are just flying and reporting to each other where they are and when one falls out they fill the gap. No weaponizing or cameras yet.

This article has a picture of the device (it is about the size of the ESPN Drone Racers and they are currently recovered in a similar way with a net).
