Finally got my turbine, King Tec T-100. How did you guys mount the aluminum tabs for the main wings? Any pics would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I didn't used the aluminium pieces.....I cut the fiberglass that was in the kit and hysol them.....for the stabs I used a 2mm Carbon Fiber piece that I made...the fin & rudder were hysol in place.

Stab CF Piece

Wing Using the Fiberglass servo thingy that was included....shape to fit.

I’ve got a spare 160 that I plan on eventually putting on mine.

Do you guys think I should add some washers to increase the down incidence?

99% ready. Just need batteries, and balancing. Think spring!

I can't seem to keep the covering tight on mine, any suggestions short of stripping and redoing it? I can tighten it with the iron/gun but it just starts to sag again. This thing reminds me of my ex wife (except I still like the Ventrix).

Did anyone have to add lead to balance anywhere? I’m about to start all the install and want to know if I have to stuff anything one way or the other.

mine only needs batteries and balancing and she’s ready. We have so much snow here in the Northeast, I’m not buying my batts for another month or two.

Do you think it will need a lot of nose weight or tail weight?

if you're going to use the 160, you may need some nose weight. With a 100 in mine I think I have an oz or two right at the nose

An old trick to use on Ultracote or Oracover type film.....is to set everything out in sunlight for hours (weather permitting this time of year)......hopefully to let it wrinkle on the loose spots. Then bring it in and use heat gun carefully, along w/ a T-shirt to press down on it, and most of the time, it will stay shrunk. I live in Texas and we have some very hot summers and this has worked for years on film covered models for me.
