I use futaba because I use SBus on all my jets, planes and helis. I have used JR but with no programming options for me it's just not the best bang for my buck. I love the soft start feature and compared to everything I have used have less play over time. I use small Hitecs for gear doors and brake valve action. With all that being said if you think it's best doesn't matter what others use. I have also had some experience with Savox and found they are just as good as futaba and JR.

I like Savox, but they are no JR. watch the Gnat video, changing from 1256TG to JR 8911 has changed the model like you would not believe. I've flown a lot of the same models and I can tell what servo they have without asking. From where we were 10 years ago ( where JR were the only choice ) there are lots of possible options, but JR are still the one to beat. Let's hope supply continues on the 8911, 8411 has now finished until they decide on a possible NX version.

Used Hitec HS-7955TG in more than 15 big jet models ,years now with great success .
With 25kg of torque at 80$ its hard to beat.
Also it can be programmed for reverse / center / end points .

So after a couple of days here, I figured JR would be high on the list. Problem is not too much available in 6.0 voltage for use.

I think you would get different results in 6 months. Many of us (me included) are current/long time JR users but now find ourselves looking for alternatives. I would be interested in hearing about peoples actual experiences down the road. I'm going to try MKS in my next jet.

Maybe the poll should be about what servos will you use on your NEXT jet.

I use Hitecs and saw the new replacement for the 7955 at Toledo. I have enough 7955's for my next project so didn't investigate too much.

Default Servo's used

Use all Hitec mostly 7955 in control surfaces. No failures yet in 7 years of jet flying.

Yea, What he said.... Whats's up with that... Does Spektrum not even qualify in you possibilities of choices?? I know lot's of guy's useing Spektrum in very expensive models with great success.. I don't get the fact you don't even acknowledge that Spektrum is a choice..
Just wondering..\

After my 2nd JR failure, my buddy Robert turned me to MKS, I loaded my F16,and my P51 with em, they are flawless. Now when I buy servos, MKS is my First choice..
