T-3 Pics and Build

T-One Models Manuals
I'm starting to put together a basic assembly manual. I say basic as there is not a lot of work and guessing to assemble this model. The manual will have CG, Throws and some basic assembly photos. Estimated completion time will be a few weeks.
If anyone has any pertinent info that has built a T3 please feel free to send it to me.

Ok, I'm checking out my trailer on how I'm going to change my layout for the T3... 118 long... check.
33" from keep to rudder tip... Will have to lower shelf a tad... no problem.
How wide is the stab?
This thing is going to be huge! Can't wait!

I measure 50" wide on the horizontal stab.
I have mine on 4" thick foam padding. I cut a "v" groove in it for the keel to sit down in. It is 36" tall including the foam padding (this is total height of the foam plus vertical fin with the T-3 sitting down in the foam).
I keep the wing tube in it and pull a bungee around the wing tube on each side ... not too tight, just snug. I also put a bungee with padding over the tail section and nose section where the formers are located where the fuse sections go together....again, not too tight just snug. It's not going anywhere.

What an AMAZING flying jet! Roll out and rotation was quick with the K210, couple clicks of elevator trim and was good to go. I did a pretty normal setup on the controls and the CG @ 335mm. She flew like a Cadillac and the flaps are very effective and do not compress at all with the internal linkage setup. It slows down fast, I also have about 1/2 inch crow at full flaps. 5 min flight and setup the flight modes and landed.
Some setup changes to the throws and flaps.. Now we are setup like a Cadillac CTS-V!!! Great response and performance. The Knife edge flight is spot on with zero coupling and very little rudder input (And I haven't even pulled the CG back yet) The power of the K210 is fantastic and pushes this jet very well through all the maneuvers. Landing with full flaps and crow, Spot on the mains and carried the nose all the way down the runway!
I will bring the CG back a bit more to my liking. Amazing jet especially for the price. You will be hard pressed to find another jet this size with this performance for the price! Once again T-One Models nailed it!

No need to adjust the trailer shelf... The T-3 wing bags are now in stock and it has a padded divider for the 2 wings, the horizontal and vertical stabs as well as the wing spar holder. The outer material is a heavy duty canvas that also has a thick padded layer to protect everything inside. It has a hard bottom piece with 4 feet nubs installed so you can stand it up like a suit case and it has the support needed so no wing edges get dented. The quality of these wing cases are probably the best I have seen and worth every dollar to protect your investment.
Cheers,
Dirk

Yeah!!!! We took home the (Best Sport Jet Runner Up Award!) at Best In The West 2017! This is a tough class with many other great sport jets and PRCJ is proud to take this award home with the first T-3 on the west coast! Again, This jet is amazing and many other pilots had a chance to fly it. They all said the same thing, WOW, Tracks like a pattern jet and the performance is excellent, it sure slows down to a crawl to land! Its how much??!! A few new orders went in that day as well!!!
Again, Thanks to T-One models for giving us such a great jet at a great price!.

Hey guys -
I ordered a P-3 for my son at BITW, I hope to have it before Thanksgiving and would like to accumulate the parts needed to complete it.
Can someone answer a few questions for me:
1. Roughly how much servo torque is needed?
2. Servo arms sizes for the flight surfaces?
3. Does anybody know the diameter of the roots of the struts (I am planning to use electric retracts)
4. How about the wheel and axel diameters?
Phil
