Default Jetpower 2019

Thought I would start the thread since it probably wouldn’t have been done other wise, it’s a month away now. I haven’t been to the new site yet so looking forward to that. And also seeing what’s new etc. Anyone else on here going? What vendors are going etc? Anything new this year?

Flights booked, car booked, hotel booked, I have my entrance tickets too.I got my euros before the £ crashed, I am ready.

The site is really nice, only a short drive from the hotel

We have been at every Jetpower since the beginning, this is the first year I'm not having a booth. Dealing with predominantly European (German) companies it does not add up business sales wise...so for the first time I can enjoy the show! We are there for the 3 days and look forward to catching up with customers and friends.
DerJet will be there for the first time with a new version of the F-35 and there will be other new releases from various companies.
Can't wait.

At Xicoy this will be our first year having a dedicated booth. I have been there since 2005, but always sharing the space with other vendors.

If you know what you want I can still deliver it. I already have some requests based on unique items.

Either way we can have a coffee and talk

Just make sure you have a BIG stock of X 45s, a quite brilliant and highly desirable engine, a masterpiece of miniature engineering !

Well, we plan to bring engines, but most of them already have a name tag on the box, if someone plan to purchase one, please contact us immediately to reserve one!

50/50 going or not. The event lost it's soul with the new location.

I disagree with this.
The new location is bigger, very well organized and the runway is fantastic.
I really enjoyed the little bit of the show I could see when not chatting with customers.

It’s all sounding great. Looking forward to it. Does someone have the Vendor tent layout pic?

I know!!! Don't worry, I will not ask for your engine.

Seriously talking, we have been working hard these last weeks to finish the assembly of the first batch of 100 engines, now the backorder list is very short, all are engines to be delivered at JetPower. Also Friday received the last pending parts for another 100 engines, plenty of stock, so have prepared an offer for JetPower, you can check here: JetPower

VIXEN JET

As I've wound down GBRJET I have a few gems to sell and one is my Vixen Jet, this jet was designed by myself and manufactured to a very high standard, it flew at Jetpower in 2015 and a handful of times since. Its a strong agile and fast sports jet with some nice features, Dog tooth wings and a dive brake, trailing link wheels for grass or tarmac and suitable for 180-250N turbines. I'm not planning to attend Jetpower this year but might be able to arrange someone who is to bring it there should a buyer be found.

During the last 4 years I've had a major house build project on the go and now I'm enjoying the fruits of that labour and have no time or passion anymore to fly so this jet and a new Jet Italian 220N turbine are up for grabs. I'm only after a realistic price for the Vixen and can do a deal to include the turbine (not fitted but ready to drop in) if desired or it can be sold as a stand alone item. The Vixen is kitted out with Futaba gear, Powerbox and JR servos, all quality stuff as most of you will know its the way I do things. The Vixen is unmarked and in perfect condition with its unique paint job.

If anyone is interested in a peach of a sports jet that will take on the best and would like to collect at JP then get in touch and we can discuss a deal.

Here is the jet in question, I can send more images to anyone interested..

Video compilation of the Vixen during early test flights by Jim Hiller to customers jets, mine at jet power in 2015 and a rear view on board camera .......

Vixen compilation

Have fun Dave, rooms still booked but will have to cancel tomorrow as my airline shut shop after 25 years so need to join some place to keep the RC funds active😊

According to PowerBox Systems Facebook the gigantic 1/6 scale Concorde, controlled by a CORE radio, is to be flown at JetPower 2019.
That should be worth seeing.

if the video that is out is any indication it will be worth the price of admission. Just amazing.

Chatty, that’s bad news!

I feared the Concord might fly, not sure it’s the flying site for it...
