Great event, Had a blast. Weather was Hot and sunny, location was much better than the old one. Amazing models to see and some great flying displays. A highlight was watching the the Sab Antarctica sports jets flying display!! Look forward to going back in future

Completely agree Mikey! FYI, the new location is located near the Danube river and within an hour or two drive of some very popular German tourist destinations such as Rothenburg, Wurzburg, Regensburg and Nurenburg. Makes a good trip with a spouse or significant other to combine with a day or two at Jetpower.

I wish the organisers every success with JetPower, they certainly deserve it.

Thanks to all for the great pictures, this is one of the better RCU postings for the event, and to Craig for posting the good food and beer pictures. It’s on the bucket list of things to do.

FYI, the gear need to rotate mechanically 90 degrees during retraction which creates some design/engineering issues due to their size.

Bottom line, even though I assured Bogo there were anxious and willing buyers in the States, there is no known date (or estimate really), when it will be ready.
I helped them get measurements for the gear last year, thats been the hold up for awhile. The gear is like F-14 gear, its not a hard gear just needs too find the right person to make them. Im hoping your info is correct and they get the gear designed.

It was great event this year and I’m sure it will continue to get better every year. I’ve noticed there’s a lot more coverage online of the event this year. Last years thread was a struggle to get going and hardly any pics or vids of the event but what a difference this year. Thanks to everyone posting pictures on this thread and there are lots of videos of walking around the tent looking at the jets and many of the displays on YouTube which is awesome!

Yes there really something for everyone, from the very large demonstration Jets to the smaller models you can take in your standard car/suv.
The facilities for taking photographs was very good too.
The rest rooms were much improved from last year, both in quality and location.

Some stunning close video of the 10 meter long Concorde at Jetpower 2019 - start about 1:00 min into the video.
Really beefy landing gear it seems.
Also interesting hesitation at one landing followed by take off at marginal speed it seems but all went fine - about 6:45 min into the video.
Nice grease landing at the end of the video.
