Sound nose heavy if it’s that amount at the tip of the elevator.

Could you folks please post the names and/or links for the various cool equipment trays for the UF that I see here? I've tried searching the thread but could not find that info. TIA

Nothing too fancy. From back to front.

- cmjets 3L kevlar tank
- Electron retracts basic controller. You probably want the one with the Xicoy gyro and touch screen.
- BVM UAT
- Jersey fueling system
- Jetcat fuel pump and ECU
- Jeti Central box 220
- Bavarian demon Cortex pro gyro

Thank you, this is also very helpful, but I meant the actual trays, for example the carbon fiber ones, the red one that Dave has on his latest UF, that other black board that I don't know what it is, etc. TIA

Good to get the Evo out today, it’s so stable flying full flap circuits close to the ground, but a projectile opened up.
Probably one of the biggest speed differentials of any jet.

looks awesome Dave! I can’t wait for mine to come. I’m curious, I’ve seen mixed thoughts on the nose gear door. Some say it helps with slowing the plane down, some say it makes a cool noise when it’s off. Do you run one?

Yes, I have the nose door. Yes it adds drag down and reduces drag up…win win
There is a pitch moment as the gear cycles if you are travelling too fast when putting the gear down.

Guy's need some help
i'm a big nob on installing thrust pipe's
I have alway's flown my jets without thrustpipe like kangaroo, boomerang xl, bobcat and aftel a long period of not building (new house etc) i recenly picket up building on my evo and i wanted to instal the thrustpipe
and wanted to align it with the fuse former see photo using a straight edge wood stick on one side
it toches the stick and ont the other side it is about 1.5 mm back from the former
I also noticed that on the widest part of the belmoth there is a bit of weaving/ not cut straight from the factory
should i leave it like it is see photo's
Regards peter

The Bellmouths are cut from a complete duct, I usually sand them (with mask) on 120grit glass paper to get them flat.
The former might not be 100% square, so average it so you can screw it securely in place.

Ok so what’s the trick to getting the nut on the other side of the flap control horn? I’m inserting the bolt from the wingtip side but not really seeing how to access the other side?

The fibreglass cover will flex out of the way. I held the nut with a pair of painted nose pliers with thin jaws

I enjoyed this weekend with just the mighty Rebel Hot and my Evo UF, both are amazingly versatile models

So I used my method of the hysol’d nut on the gear leg to mount the gear door on this plane. It works really well, the door is solid, really happy with the results again. Just need to finish routing the brake lines and the gear install will be complete.

If anyone has the Art Scholl scheme and isn’t going to use their gear doors and wants to sell them… I might be interested… had an unfortunate Dremel slip. Fortunately it hit the gear door and not the wing…
