Hey Marty,
I’ve got a friend here at my club that has been using them. So far he has been very happy with them.

Hi,

I'm sold on Booma. My only complaint is how long stuff takes to get here from Oz, but that's not their fault. The equipment is top notch and EASY to use. The lights will blind you at high noon if you look directly into them!

Good to know.Thanks.I ordered on the 22nd and it was in the hands of the Australian Post on the 23rd. It cleared on the 23rd and left for the U.S.on the 29th.That's where the tracking ends. Probably will pick up again tomorrow or the 3rd.

The install may not happen for a while. I'm in the midst of pulling my basement shop apart to have a radon mitigation system put in and hopefully by the time I'm finished I'll have the next new project arrive which I believe has been sitting off the west coast for the last few months. This system is planned for an old Carf Hawk. I will however test out the lighting system and take some detailed photos to post here. I'm surprised that the Advanced Radio guys haven't put up a video or two on their lighting systems on their YT channel. If they are as good as some have said, they would probably sell a lot more here I would think as they are competitively priced compared to the few other companies out there..

Thanks Marty. My Rebel Max won't even be here until April, and I still have others to finish and just ordered a Heli so whenever you get any info it will be appreciated.

What system or individual lights did you get for the hawk? I've got one in need of lights myself.

I purchased the basic jet kit https://boomarc.com/en/ils-03-basic-jet-kit and an additional red beacon https://boomarc.com/en/red10-mm-high...ding-led-light

Had a chance to hook up a few lights. I had ordered an extra red beacon as the T45 has two but it wasn't in the order. which was probably a good thing as the beacon shown on the website doesn't really match the one that was sent. The bezel of what was sent is fairly large and would not work for the lenses that I already have on the Hawk so they are sending me the 12mm red nav they didn't send me and I ordered an additional one. Also, all of the lights excluding the large bezeled beacon are 12mm even though the website description says the white ones are 10mm. So if your application necessitates a specific size, you may want to confirm that the description given is what you'll receive. The controller was powered with a 2 cell and 3 cell lipo. Brightness seems the same. They step up the voltage to 13.4 according to the literature.
