This pic on the right was the Save of the Day, a F15 was flying away so far it looked like a dot, Jim Hiller jumped in while helping someone else to get it turned around and heading back to the field what a man!, Dwayne jumped in to trim it out, and Terry Nich did the carrier landing with no nose gear down, four pilots on one plane, but she flew again anyhow.

RE: A Very Special Thanks from Heart of Ohio
That's all folks.
I had to have some time to fly and do some socializing.
Dustin made BV proud by helping guys with their jets and giving rides on his King Kat. Larry K., Dave R. and Chris H. put on show of speed and performance that was only rivaled by Ben B's high G low pass turns, this boy was off the hook!!.
Paul B. those 87mph landings have to be the tops. Dave and Pete, I hope you did'nt forget to take those grimlins back with you. Jim Hiller had some problems but stayed to help others fly and did some more flying any how, way to stay with it man. Willliam D. keep bringing something new man, it's always nice to see those conversions.
One more shout out to the "Bandit Boys", keep it low and fast my Brothers see you at the next field. LATE.

WOW, can you imagine your airport being off limits 5 days before a major event?
What a recover the Nitsch Crew did to have another delightful HOO as demonstrated by these pictures.

RE: A Very Special Thanks from Heart of Ohio
I would like to say THANKS to Terry and the TORKS members! They made us all feel so welcomed. This was possibly one of the best events of the summer despite a little rain. You would have thought this was our "intended" place to fly! Terry- we never needed an airport to begin with!!!! I would rather be at the TORKS field anyhow! I dont know what the hype was about because things could not have been better! I want to say thanks to Dave Ribbe for doing the Maiden flight on my MiG 15. It was awesome!! Thanks to Dustin Buescher for all your help as well! (You need to get your Bandit finshed so you can be a "Bandit boyeeee") I meet so many new friends and will never forget this event. Ben.....you put on one heck of a show with that "beast" you fly! I want your autograph on my underwear! I wish the event would have been 4-5 days! There just wasnt enough time as always. We will be there next year for sure. I cant wait to see what they will do next year! See you guys at Superdude! -Patrick Frost

We would like to thank Terry and the Torks club for a great weekend! Great field, lots of flying, empty fuel jugs..
The Tork club members are among the best in the business (flight line, transmitter impound etc) it's nice not to feel like the hired help after driving 17 plus hours.
We would also like to thank the NEW AMT USA for the Friday night pizza party. Pizza and a few cold "pops" at the field is always a good start for the weekend. This event will be on our calender for next year! Those who choose not to attend because of the shorter runway really missed the boat.

Ron Doctrant had a great weekend and a much deserved award for the 20 plus flights on his Kangaroo. It must be nice flying a G-IV around the country and sipping coffee at 35,000 feet!! then flying model jets all weekend. Some people really have a tough life...

You're right Larry, there is nothing like a few cold "pops" to get your weekend off to a great start. As a matter of fact, I think the cold "pops" were the highlight of the weekend for Patty. Hats off to the Torks club for pulling off a great event; I'll see you guys next year.

The new CAI owners, R/P Int'l Jets, have moved the entire operation to Cincinnati.
The F-100 and Predator, as viewed at HOO, will probably be the first 2 models released something mid 2006 when they have completely up-date the kits.
