Default F15 Ducting

Hey Guys

Just been dry test fitting the internal components prior to gluing in my JL F15. I've noticed the intake ducting either needs to be seriously trimmed back to match the external intake. or pushed back to be flush with external, thus taking up some valuable room in the internal bay!

Be good to hear what you guys did or just some ideas.

Thanks.

Chris

Mine came pre-installed, but...
Why not trim the OTHER end? Seems a lot easier...

by the look of the picture , trim the internal ducting .. the lower lip of it .. i'd suggest gluing it in first, and then trimming it out once glued, thus ensuring you don't trim off too much ..

Hello,
Would you mind telling me what the diameter the ducting is when it enters the fuse?

Thanks
Derrek

Yours look similar to how mine looked. I glued it in as it was and then trimmed it around the external intake. I think I have some photos somewhere at home, I'll have alook tonight and see if I can find them for you.

Cheers

Jeremy.
