Hey Acarlos,

Nice work! they are such an easy flying model!!!

I like the turnigy UBEC, I'm using 2 of the same units in mine!

While I'm upgrading the powerplant on my falcon 120, I thought I'd also do something a little different for the undersides.. the before and afters are below

Thanks

dave

P.S Yes, I have to finish off the last of the wing's feathers!

Hey Dave,

Yeah, it lands as good as an Ugly Stik!
The Turnigy UBEC is working flawlessly after 8 flights.

I loved the falcon silhouette, very nice!!

Thanks,

Andre

Hi there,

You know, I bought a used Falcon 120 with a Kingtech K80. Did 2 flights on it and really loved it. But the used looks of it was kind of getting to me so...I'm just finishing my Falcon's refurbishment.

Daniel, a very good friend of mine and author of really nice model airplanes works is just finishing it:

Pro-Link retrats;
JR servos DS 821 all around;
Lightining system (9 leds);
Tip-Tanks

You can see here a picture of the work in progress. I'll do a complete set of pictures later...

Best regards and nice flights!

Hi Marcelo,

these tip tanks are from a SIA Marchetti and actually is the same manufacturer as the Falcon 120. But this SIA Marchetti is no longer manufactured. I had these laying around for something like 5 years in the shop...

But let me tell you, wait until I can upload more pictures. These tip tanks really added to the plane, and the light system, with stroboscope lights at the tip tanks and a landinggggg light at the LE of the wing.

I think this week we start painting the wing tips, bi-component over the body and next weekend putting all back in.

Best regards and great flyings!

Got some Norray Tornado (V1,V2,V3), Falcon120 & NavyCat canopies on route to the Uk. They're about 2 x thicker than the originals.

PM me for price & to reserve one. I'll pop them on the website once they arrive.

Hi,

I have bought the Pro-Link retract set from Dreamworksrc.com. The fit and work great into the Falcon. Last time I checked in Dreamworksrc they have added the electric retracts to their site, you can check there.

Best regards,

Klaus

Hi Marcelo,

I have to upload the new pictures. It's all finished regarding covering & Painting. We need just to lay som bi-component vernish and put it all back in again. I'll be out for the nex 3 weeks, so I'll only be able to have it done by mid August...

Regarding the fuel tank...well, it the old goo, 2,25Lts Coke can! Hehe

Hi All,

Finished my Falcon 120 the other day and flew it this weekend in terrible weather but it flew very well. This is one of the easiest models I have had to fly. Mine has the covering removed and glassed and powered by A K80. It flys on less than 1/2 and gets off nice and quick. Done many mods as described on this forum and all have seemed to work out well. All up weight dry is 8.6Kg and has a Noray canopy and cockpit tub (well woth getting and good service) and dreamworks prolink gear. Great model and very enjoyable to fly.

cheers

Peter

G'day Marcelo,

Thanks

Tail group is screwed for the moment but I am leaving it assembled so may hysol it in place in the future as I think this may be a weak point. I dremeled out a bit of the rear fuse and managed to get the motor to fit where you see it in the photo. The top of the FOD screen is bent down just a little to go under the rear of the fuse. I have also filled all the gaps in the wheel wells and fuse so no air can get in to over-pressurise the fuse or the wings, so hopefully this will help it stay together if I get a little carried away with the throttle stick.

Peter

Marcelo,

I have attached a couple of pictures of my engine install, hope this helps. Canopy and cockpit tub are from Noray on this thread, just do a thread search for Noray and you will find a heap of posts, good product and great service, just send him an email and he will fix you up.

Peter
