Yellow F15 ARF New Scale Wheels
Just got the first set of scale wheels with real tires(not Foam) and disc brakes from Dennis At Glennis. Gotta clean them up and paint them, but I think they will perform much better than what came from YA

So what is he charging for a set? They have needed to be done for a while, Also someone needs to do a scale cockpit for this plane, not just yellow but Avonds also.

Hi,
Do you know if he'll make tires that fit the stock wheels? Maybe that'll finally light a fire under Charles to make some rubber tires.

unfortunately the only way to get the hard rubber jet tires was with the wheels and brakes. The wheels that came with the kit were great, they just need better tires.

Yes, machined to fit the struts - and with alternate axles increase their (mains) size to 6mm.
Like the F-18, they are a direct retrofit, bolt/stud detail on the nose, scale 'C' mains with scale brake detail on the backs.

Sold the airplane for about $9,500 two years ago. No problems with the wheels since then! 
Have considered building another over time, but the wheels have crossed my mind as a barrier. I was thinking about making an aluminum mold and making my own tires.

They are a complete retrofit - so the stock brakes won't work.
Price into is on the website (don't think we're supposed to post it here).
Be careful with that CNC crap (and making this stuff) Sean, it's an addiction like drugs - just costs more.

I think it's cool to post the price in response to a specific question. I know several people interested (myself included). Don't get me wrong, I think our wheels/brakes are super and a great value, but I don't like the tires. If the price is close enough, it might be worth it to do the whole shootin match to get the tires.
