Hi Steve,

I just got my delivered, but still waiting for their landing gear for more than one month. They look scale but not sure about how durable they are going to be. The factory is pretty slow in delivery of my planes.

Hi,

The gear surprised me actually. I thought it would be a real weak point due to the complexity but I've seen a JL F16 bounced, 'kangaroo like', down the runway on landing and another that was landed almost carrier like from about 50 feet.

The gear was okay on both apart from a breakage of the small drive rod on the mains cylinder on one of the aforementioned jets.

JL are currently in the process of redesigning the small rams which lock the U/C so that explains the delay.

Mine worked flawlessly. Steering is Exellent. I did grind out the nose steering servo mount and installed a more powerful servo.
Nitec HS 225 MG. Jet flys very scale like on a P-70.
