RE: The Jet Show Chronicles
Well folks, I've gotten a bunch of request for some of the "stories" I've seen at these jet shows, so what I'll do is periodically I'll come on this thread and update from time to time with what I have from different places that J had dragged me around to over the years. There's a bunch of funny stuff that I have so keep an eye out because you never know, it might be your takeoff or landing!
Now to finish out the 25th and last episode of the Fresno Jets adventure.
Dave finally returned his bosses BRAND NEW Suburban and swore to him that it was the nicest truck he's ever driven and we did not smoke, yell or curse in the truck which had less than 1000 miles on it. And being that Dave is still employed by the same Boss........the man never knew the difference and believes every word Dave says.
We then went to Jimmy's house and watched video replays of our more successful flights at Fresno Jets, like Dave and I doing formation flying with the Viperjets, J's beautiful landings with the Mirage, and the first flight on a Red and White F-15. We also analyzed all of our crashes in an effort to learn how not to have all of this happen again. We took "10" Jets down to Fresno and broke 12 folks, J left the Mirage with Dave Fusinato to repair and I left my Viperjet with Tam to repair the damage I did from the little wheelbarrel stunt I did down the runway with no main gear left.
Dave and Marcia were gracious enough to allow J and I to crash once yet again at their house before we had to catch our flights out the next morning back to the east coast. The next morning Dave and I were up a bit early to make sure Johnny would'nt miss his flight.............

Stay tuned folks for more adventures from The Jet Show Chronicles

"I don't wanna go to the flying field anymore." or "When are you going to the supermarket?" or "How much did that one cost?" or "That's nice, now can we go?" and on and on............
The danger sign is when they stop helping you at the flightline and begin to sit under your tent talking to all their married girlfriends about how bored they are..........
Hat's off to all of you who've found the one............but for me right now, I'll just try to hang in there, over here on the other side as long as I can, because if I lose my models, I want it to be because "I" screwed up.........

Be warned, it gets ugly. These guys basically waterboard Johny for several hours.
Gotta admit though, "Phone Smells" is a classic. Dave, you're lucky you didn't cook the boys.
