Yes, that is not very impressive.
The spar gluing is not done properly.
No intermediate ribs.
The front wing tube spar is broken at the end of the tube sleeve. This intermediate spar has horizontal grain.

The main spars grain is vertical, wich is good though.

Yes, and the FEJ 1/5.5 scale F-16 wings are even better than the F-18 F ones, with 2 integral plywood spars and a complete and coherent inner structure as I suggested them.
The only other company I know that makes such strong wings is PST Jets ( but in that case they are overkill and a bit too heavy, which is another story )

Greetings Friends!
What for to do of a tree wings? It is bad!
It is necessary to do as we! Fiber glass fabric - polyfoam - fiber glass fabric! A sandwich...!
It is very strong! And easy!
It is impossible to apply such technology for Jet planes! Only for gliders....

Imagine that, this guy is using carbon fiber.... I wonder why he didn't reinforce with fiberglass cloth instead. Maybe carbon fiber is cheaper in Denmark.

hehe that my T-33

why do you think the use of carbonfiber is wrong?

It is better to use polyfoam!

It is necessary karbonovyj plastic!
Balsa - It is unnecessary....
I do all fuselages with polyfoam! It is very strong!

Hi,
Usually there is more then one way to do things. Why do you think that the only correct way, is the way you do it? I see you have more posts where you claim that other people do it the wrong way, and you do things the correct way.

Nothing wrong with carbon fiber. That was a sarcastic post because some people think that you can achieve the same results such as stiffness, strength etc...with fiberglass instead of using carbon fiber. Granted you can....eventually, but your part will be heavy and thick from all the layers of cloth whereas if you use carbon fiber it will be lighter.

You correctly speak![]
Probably Bob Toilet incorrectly me understands....
It is necessary to apply - carbon fiber... I unless have told, it is not necessary?
Concerning a material - пенопласть, it is an optimum variant for construction of planes.
