LOL, Henry, the last thing I would ask you do is sand brotha!!!! I would much rather let you fly it when shes done, how about that? You have put in more than your fair share of sanding I think!

Ian, I have used these guys. Cant beat the price-go to their Ebay store for all the different resins.
http://cgi.ebay.com/EPOXY-RESIN-MARI...item41408e25c7
I have used the MAS before- I got inconsistent results with it. Sometimes hard, sometimes more flexable. Scotty

Good price on the epoxy! But to hell with their shipping prices to my town. Shipping cost more the price of the 2 gal kit.[:@] It most be some hazardous cost. I heard from other companies that don't charge the hazardous cost to the epoxy resin. But no more than two gallons order. Just can't remember witch company was.

Thanks Maxius, I have been mostly been sanding and applying lightweight Spackle. I did fill in the last couple bays with foam that I needed to so I will take a few pics tonight and post them up.

Thanks guys and gals. I have been trying to keep myself busy on other parts of the project so I have been drawing up some fowler flap hinges in Solidworks. Hopefully that will keep me busy in the down time.

I was messing around in Solidworks today and decided to take the basic design of the Robart fowler flap hinges and try to apply them to the A-6. You can see how they operate in the video. From here I will be able to change the design around to suit my needs in this plane.

Thanks Thomas. The finished one will need some tweaking that's for sure. This is just a proof of concept. Since the flap tapers down all the hinges wont be able to be the same size I dont think. We'll see what happens when I actually cut the pieces loose from the wing.

Yea i know what ya mean... Luckily i dont have to deal with the head-ache's of fowler flaps. the F-14's are just hinged aft of the leading edge by about 1/2", so i can use typical robart hinges...

We oughta "hook up" (see photo) with the A6 and F-14 when we get them done :

I have not chosen a scheme yet Carlos but I am looking for something scale and colorful. I have seen a few that may make the grade, but we'll see.
