RE: AWESOME FEJ F-100
Thanks David
Iv made up plates either side of the turbine for the ecu on the one side and reciver on the other,i hate keeping them close together but i realy dont want to ad tail weight.
What problems are u having with the gear?how many tanks do you have?iv fitted bigger robart door cylinders and the kit came with bigger tubing on the retracts.
Do you use the wing slats for take off aswell as landing?
Thanks again
Regards Greg

RE: AWESOME FEJ F-100
incase there is still interest in the Flyeagle F-100 i got this from Lowel as he stated in earlier post...i flew it 3 times back to back today in cross wind P-120sx and i had better luck with it than any of my other Jets i have flown so far....retract servo was bad so wheels down...at full flaps it floated in and controlled awesome the whole way down....i will test it with P-160 soon as weather permits - takeoff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8jt7bMFT4c - some passes got lower and faster later on in the day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hgKMio7wiU - and a cross wind landing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bp0kOXt0E0 i have video of my Flyeagle Tornado here and will post F-14 twin when i get it in air this month wings swept on both of coarse - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PY5w_WDBViU

RE: AWESOME FEJ F-100
mine are mixed with the flaps and there for with half flap takeoff they are deployed somewhat...i don,t know if there would be any difference if i had them off at takeoff or not i know it does great for control landing and lift off as you can see in my landing Video i had good comfortable control in cross wind all the way down

RE: AWESOME FEJ F-100
no they did great on closing my video was wheels down because of bad servo..the whole Jet is pretty simple operations unlike my F-14 gets pretty involved with 9 doors canopy speed brakes and lock cylinder on back mains as well as 2 turbines

RE: AWESOME FEJ F-100
the plastic end cone that covers the very end has plenty of room but just inside that is a wood former the actual thrust tube sets in somewhat snuggly...takes a small bit of wiggling and straight in push to get it through but the
jet was made to except the tube from the factory without modifying it..if you have problems post a picture for me to see..just click the upload images and file link at the bottom of this page

Just in case anyone is still subscibed to this thread, Id be keen to know if anyone else had problems getting the ailerons and flaps to fit on the wing?
The ailerons and flaps seem too wide. I cant get both of them on, as the flap actuator seems to stick out too far from the fuse, and therefore pushes the flap further outboard.
My options are to either a) remove part of the inboard edge of the aileron or b) shorten the tube the flap actuator sits within.
Does anyone recall this being an issue?
