I am using the new Powerbox Royale SRS which has integrated gyro, it works perfectly on this jet, I only have it to smooth the flight on windy conditions, in general the jet flys very stable.

For power I am using a Jet Central Mammoth which has more than enough power for this jet.

Love this jet; to this end and after receiving a quote from the Canadian supplier, I thought I might broadcast if anyone who has one in-hand and has elected to sell it...please let me know. This includes kit only or turn-key :^)

Thanks...

Is anyone seeing any leakage from the HYD system?

Can anyone tell me what fluid I should use to service my gear system? It looks like 5606.

I want to know if he current 104's being built are using four air cylinders on the forward, main gear doors. Two per door.
The pictures in the manual only show one per door.

Anton, off topic question but could the hydraulic gear setup used on the 104 be adapted to the f-14?

I'm also experiencing some leaking on one of the PISCO fittings. I may pull out the offending line and see if it is cut square. Other fixes I've that might seal up the o-rings is to use a little dielectric grease on the o-ring to help it seal better.

I'll have to take out the gear to paint anyway, the one I'm working on is all white...should be a fun project!

Does anyone know and want to share how to use the gear servicing pack with the syringe and air tank? I'm sure it is simple, but I'm not picturing how it all works together to fill or bleed the hydraulic system.

On the Skymaster site you will find a useful video on how to use the servicing pack. Have a look under the manuals that are listed. The only part you will have to work out is the air pressure to start with - may I suggest 100lbs. After you have then tried out the ground handling of the jet, you can increase or decrease that pressure - which can easily get done at the flying field. Remember that you also have to make sure the pressure is enough to handle hard landings, so don't go too soft on the pressure.

Good luck.

I fought with my leaking fittings for some time. Festos won't work and neither will replacment fittings from Skymaster. The new fittings have a smaller hole in them so you can't screw them to the keel beam. I finally resorted to zip ties. Not happy.

How are you guys measuring the CG? It's quite large to put on a CG stand.....
xicoy has a system to weigh the wheels but this is just released. So how have y'all determined where the CG is located?

Hey Jason, I put the plane on a table and a buddy and I used our thumbs. My CG is right behind the trailing edge of the slat.

Anton, can you provide a video of this modification being installed? I'm not sure how to locate the pin in the fuselage.
