RE: Minnesota Jet Rally 2010
Update
Thursday we had great flying until dark.
Today was a little wet with a Tstorm that leveled the big tent but we had a new one up shortly and flying resumed with many flights by every pilot here.
Tomorrow (sat) looks to be fantastic. We should have many pics/video to follow shorlty. Big day tomorrow with flying, food and a bonfire.
Thanks to all that traveled here (NE, MO, LA, MN)

Dave,
Thanks for another great event.
The flying was great, the people were great and so was the food.
Thanks to BVM for supplying some neat prizes.
Will be there next year for sure.

For now, if you have pictures we would ove to see them here and also emailed to Jake at [email protected],
We will unveil it once we have some content.
Would also apprecaite any feedback on the places you stayed, I need the names and a brief description would be great!

RE: Minnesota Jet Rally 2010
Since this thread is still fresh I thought I would aks here. I flew my turbine with Dave Schwanz at tri-valley a while ago but still need help with getting a sign off from another waiver holder (Dave is a CD) as there were no other holders at the field during the initial flights. Is anyone in this thread planning to fly at tri-valley soon that would be willing to help me out.
I don't get out to the fields like I used to so I have lost touch with many of the folk who I used to fly with. Funny what 3 children and a new job do to your hobby life isnt it?

Harry,
Some of us fly at Tri Valley occasionally - I am not a member but flew there a few weeks ago.with Cal. I would be happy to try and help you out. Some of us (Chris, Christian?) may be trying to fly this Sunday - not sure of location yet but will keep you posted.

Dave,
My friend sent me this video link of the F-22.
Thought an F-22 pilot like yourself would be interested.
You met him in 07, he's a retired navy pilot and was admiring your F-18.
Its a cool narrated video of the F-22 showing its stuff.

While we wait for all the pictures to get edited and posted, here is a small sequence of the save even I couldn't believe I pulled.
I'm thinking there was a lot of luck involved.
