I got my package from UMS today and was looking it over. All the parts are there but I was a little bummed that they did not supply a chart for using and connecting the distribution valve. I should be able to figure it out from the video on YouTube though. Just waiting on some fittings and stuff from Dreamworks and i will be starting on it. In the meantime I am going to solder on connectors and such for all the electronics.

Also I will say that I was very impressed with UMS in terms of their shipping and ordering department. I placed my order on the 19th and it was shipped on the 25th. Fedex tried to deliver it on the 29th but I was at work, 4 days from India, that's great time!! For those looking to buy from them in the states, don't be put off by the global location.

Edgar, did you buy the kit or the parts separately? That is probably where I fell short as I bought the parts separately. If you could would you be able to scan and email them to me, or upload them to the thread?

I bought the kit direct and got no instructions or diagram, but it looks simple enough to work out. From order to delivery mine took over a month to arrive due to the fact it was not posted for three weeks.

Excellent, thank you gentlemen, that will help a lot for all the guys here doing conversions.

And I imagine the Red and Blue wires go to the pump and the Red and Black go to the battery.

Well I've got one of these Mig-29 on the way. With a new version of the landing gear air cylinders.
A big Thanks to Mike at Global Jet Club.

I'm sure they will get it right. The hydraulic conversion is nice. What size servos are you guys using on the rudders and ailerons?

You would think that if there were new cylinders available that the original owners of this aircraft (that flagged the issue) would have been notified. I haven't heard a thing, instead my Mig has been sitting here gathering dust.

I'm sure they'll be forth coming - probably in the next order I receive...

Mine is sat on the bench too although I'm not at the point of flying yet.

Now can it John or I'll rough you up!

Hi John,

Good job on the VJ; Wished i'd gone to the trouble of logging flights but mine's flown many times and i'm not even close to wanting to part with it!

I'll get on to JL about the upgrades...

Cheers

Jeff

Ian,

Looking forward to it. My UMS kit is in transit so should arrive soon. Would you be so kind as to post what parts you needed from Todd so i can get that process started.

Rob, the only thing you definitely need is the one way valve from Festo. The rest is kind of up to you as to how you would like to run the plumbing in your plane. I got some 3mm and 4mm T's and Y's and some 4mm-3mm reducers. I also ordered an RCBee sequencer. I will post pics of all that tonight laid out.

Hi,

Fit some mini's of your choice with about 4.5kg of torque. You can use JR3401, SAVOX 1250 etc...

Cheers
