Default high low carb

hey i saved up 500 bucks and im finally gonna buy my second nitro truck.

right now i want the hpi savage 25 but on tower hobbies it says its carb adjustments are "simplified high low"

does this mean you can only put it on two settings? i imagine this would be easier but i live at high elevation and i dont know how good it will run. would this be a good or bad thing for high elevation?

**My biggest question is do any other t maxx/savage/x factor etc type trucks have this so i buy one knowing? **

thanks

What is meant by this is that the carb only has two needles HSN and LSN. They say simplified because the Savage 21 has a three needle set up. It included and midrange needle that could really mess up your tuning if you messed with it.

thank you, youre right, i just misunderstood it. I ended up ordering a savage 25 rtr from tower with a tundra body and smoke paint, temp guage and paddles. i cant wait till it gets here. Was this a better choice than buying a sportmaxx and using the extra 100 for better parts?

It sounds like you made a good choice. I have paddles for my Savage also. Panthers in the rear and ProLines up front..Way too much fun!..........[:@]
