RE: revo 3.3 and savage X
i dont think the accelaration is a draw between the revo 3.3 and the savage x, cause my friend has the old revo with the 3.3 and its rips insane wheeling, no offense to the savage, i own the old 25(great basher)[>:]

RE: revo 3.3 and savage X
I own a Revo and a Savage X. My Revo has a Sirio 23 in it and hauls a**. The 25 that my X came with had a hard time keeping up with it, but that Sirio really moves... I've since put a Surfire 32 in the Savage and wow! now the Revo doesn't have a chance on takeoff or top end.
The Savage is stock aside from the engine, THS exhaust system, a 3 speed transmission kit, and diff oil (7k front / 3k rear)
The Revo is far from stock: Sirio 23, Trinity Exhaust system, FOC, wide ratio trans kit, Traxxas extended wheelbase A-arms, Xtreme Racing carbon fiber kits, Proline dish's / Imex Step Dawgs, Single steering servo ( Airtronics 94358Z ), Hitec 425BB PRO throttle / brake servo... and more
I wouldn't part with either truck, I love them both for totally different reasons. It's hard to compare two trucks that are so completely different, but the Revo definately leans more towards a track, and the Savage to a bash session.
