Apart from the radio tray which is quite convenient, much as I love the Savage, I have to confess it is a pain to work on. At least compared to the racing buggies and truggies that I am more used to. I've never owned a Revo, so can't comment on it.

agreed foxy, especially if your still running the old tranny case, and diff setup, the new easy acess cases cut out allot of work when it comes to maintainance, but it still takes a few times to get it down and be fairly quick at it

RE: Easier to work on?
The savage can be a pain in the butt, but I don't have to take it apart to much. I also have the MGT and that thing is easy to work on I like to work on it and that is my truck that I did up. My one bud runs a revo the other a t-maxx and from what I saw it is easyer then the savage. The savage is a fine truck and with the 3spd is a lot of fun, if you know how to jump and bash with some common sense the truck will not break all that much. I have the savage X and was told by some of my buds it's slow and it is but it runs all day long with no problems untill my kid had it for a day[:@].

the savage so far only broke a hub carrier (hitting a garbage can at 2 mph)bent the dogbone on that side and melted a spur 2 times. it also has the 24.7 motor in it, alot faster than stock but still mot as fast as the lst2
